Room of digitalized coronary angiography. The doctor, assisted by another cardiologist, closes the atrial septal defect (ASD) by umbrella and puncture of the right femoral vein. He is also guided by a transesophageal echography for the placement of the implant.
The ASD is a congenital malformation caracterized by the presence of an abnormal hole in the wall separating the 2 atria of the heart.
