FUSOBACTERIUM
Fusobacterium is an anaerobic Gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria found in the oral cavity, the upper airways and in the intestine. It can become pathogenic leading to purulent and necrotic lesions. Sixteen species of fusobacterium have been identified. Scan electron microscopy.
