TESTING FOR ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

Exercise of praxie in the Folstein test (also named Mini mental state).
Folstein is use to diagnose and measure dementias, of which Alzheimer's disease. It is psychometric test evaluating cognitive functions.
The last exercise of the test, represented here, consists in reproducing a drawing of two entangled polygones. In this case it is the praxie that is estimated, which means that the capacity to execute on order gestures oriented towards a determined goal (coordination of gestual activity).
