KILLER LYMPHOCYTE, CANCER CELL
Killer T cells or cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) attach themselves to cells invaded by pathogen and displaying antigens that label them for destruction. The CTL secretes toxins (perforin) into the plasma membrane leading to target-cell lysis. Here, Killer lymphocytes approaching a cancerous cell.
