On Tuesday the 16th of October 2007, the President Nicolas Sarkozy and the Minister of Health Roselyne Bachelot went to Bordeaux to set up the Larcher commission. This commission, presided by the former minister Gerard Larcher, has the objective to organize a concertation on the missions of public hospitals.
