HIRSUTISM

Clémentine Clatteaux was born on March 5, 1865 in L'Abbaye de Chamousey, near Charmes in the Lorraine region of France. She married Mr. Delait in 1885 . He died in 1928. In 1919, they adopted a five-year-old girl whose parents had just died from the Spanish flu. She owned a coffee shop and bakery in Taon-les-Vosges. Mr. Delait was a baker. She also owned a lingerie shop in Plombières from 1922 to 1928 which drew crowds.
