TOUCH
Touch is one of the five senses allowing us to receive information from the environment by skin contact. The sensorial organs located in the skin (tactile corpuscles) receive information which is transmitted to the brain via a series of neurons. The first sensorial neuron is situated in the spinal ganglion and the second in the spinal cord. The third neuron is in the parietal lobe of the brain in the tactile center. Heat and pain are transmitted by separate pathways.
