BIFOCAL LASIK
Presbylasik (refractive surgery of presbyopia).
Presbylasik is the application of Lasik to the correction of presbyopia.
Lasik corresponds to a modification of the cornea curvature by Excimer laser, after the creation of a flap of corneal tissue. In the case of Presbylasik, either a centered ablation is undertaken, either two concentric incisions (as it is here). The central area enables near vision, the peripherical area, the far vision.
The different staged of surgery by Presbylasik : set up of a suction ring (see image 0353207), creation of a flap of corneal tissue with a laser (1210805), ablation of regions of the cornea with a Lasik (1208805 and 1210905), re-set up of the flap of corneal tissue (1211005), and result (0353107 and 0353007).

This image is part of a series on the treatment of presbyopia.
